OPENWATER SCUBA DIVER COURSE

COURSE OUTLINES & SCHEDULES

This is an entry-level course for scuba diving, the entire course can be completed in 4 days scheduled within 2 - 3 weeks.  Class size is 4 - 6.  Course schedules may be finalized among students upon registration.  The course contents and schedules are as follows:

	One full day or home study Academic Session
	One full day Pool or Confined Water Training
	Two full days Openwater Training

QUALIFICATION OF GRADUATES

Graduates of this course will be certified as NAUI Openwater Scuba Diver, who are internationally recognized and considered competent to engage in open water diving activities without direct supervision.

COURSE FEE

Course Package HK$2,980 per student (Less HK$300 for those who purchase their own Personal Diving Equipment at HKIST).  Four or more students registered at the same class will each earn a Dive Mask for free.

The Basic Course Package covers:

	Tuition, Examination and Certification
	Textbook, Dive Table and Diver's Logbook
	One full day Pool or Confined Water Training
	Two full days Openwater Training, including lunch onboard
	Rental of Personal Diving Equipment, Tanks, Buoyancy Compensator, Regulator and Weight Belt for the course (Less HK$300 for those who purchase their own Personal Diving Equipment at HKIST)

PREREQUISITES FOR ENROLLMENT

	Minimum age for this certification course is 10.  Good health conditions.  Guardian approval required for age under 14.
	Capable to demonstrate novice swimming proficiency in any stroke.

EQUIPMENT
